Delivery Update

I few of you have asked for an update  on the shipping.  Here are the highlights.

• Production is done!  The cases are in a Chinese warehouse waiting for shipment.
• Because of Brexit, we are in the process of getting a new UK VAT number with Simplyvat.   We will fulfill to the EU through the UK distribution center.
• We are working with Quartermaster and ARC Global Logistics Inc to secure freight from China.  They are optimistic that they will secure a vessel for delivery in late February.

We will post additional updates once we get more information.

Pledge Manager Locking!

Hello backers. We are in the process of working with Quartermaster and ARC Customs Brokerage to get Backyard Chickens to the distribution ports throughout the world.  This process requires final product counts for each region, so we ship the right number of games to each port. For this reason, we are Locking the pledge manager on December 1st, 2021.  Any addresses changes within the same country can occur up to January 15, 2021 by emailing Dan at [email protected].

Sorry for the frequent updates but we got the final production copy in the mail today!  This time with the insert.  We are happy because there is room for sleeving and upgraded bits.

Production Update! 

The production will be complete after we receive the final version of the plastic insert in our hands.  Now the fun begins of trying to get the games to all of you during the shipping crisis.

Pledge Manager is Ready!

Hello!!!!  We finally approved the Backerkit pledge manager.   We ran into an issue with the way the add-ons were calculating shipping charges (No additional charges for the first 4 items).  It's all fixed!

Backerkit requires a smoke test to the first 10% of backers to make sure there are no technical issues.  This is going out today.  The rest should follow 48 hours later.

Our Rise of the Gnomes backers will have a shipping credit in the pledge managher.  Email Dan at [email protected] if you are a Rise Backer and do not see the credit.  He will fix is right away.
